Following the enthusiasm raised by the pfc2018 meeting, some ask us if there will be another edition. The organization of such days takes time but we are of course delighted with their success! Consequently, we will not organize the next ones at the French natural History museum of Paris, but we are ready to pass on the torch by giving all useful advice to organize the next ones! Are there any candidates, let's say, considering the sanitary conditions, for 2022? Take care and see you !

Dear participants, It has come to our attention that some participants may have been contacted by companies or individuals claiming to be affiliated with the pfc 2018 meeting regarding their potential stay at a “partner hotel”. Please be aware that this is a scam sent from a company named Business Travel Management (BTM). The company will send you an email or call you to entice you to purchase rooms at a “partner hotel”. If you indicate that you have a rooming need, BTM will send you a credit card authorization form from DocuSign or RightSignature. Please DO NOT give out any of your information to this company as this is a scam. Please ignore any emails and calls from BTM or any other travel agent and DO NOT complete the DocuSign or RightSignature form that is attached to their emails. The pfc 2018 organizing committee will NEVER send emails or place telephone calls to individuals in order to promote specific accommodations. Obviously, the agencies accessed public congress information and searching contact details through search engines like Google. The pfc 2018 meeting is not affiliated in any way with BTM or any other travel agent. We only provide a list of possible accommodations in Paris, to help participants to find one meeting their preferences/cost restrictions. All travel and accommodation charges are to be settled by participants. If you receive emails or telephone calls regarding pfc 2018 hotel accommodations, please disregard and do not engage with the sender. If you have any doubt or question, OR if you receive a phone call or email from BTM, or being contacted by any other travel agent, please forward the information immediately to: pfc2018@sciencesconf.org. Your kind understanding and support is much appreciated. What to do if you have been contacted by a scam company about booking hotels? 1. If you have given out your credit card information to BTM or anyone who called you about booking hotel rooms for the pfc 2018 meeting, call your credit card company immediately, alert them to the scam, and deny the charge. 2. Change your online passwords and PINs to prevent fraudsters from doing any further damage. 3. Continue to monitor your credit card to look for fraudulent charges. Request further information from your credit card company regarding closing your account or issuing a new card. 4. Book your rooms only through official accommodation booking link or reservation form.

A new registration process has been put in place for the visit of the collections. Visit of the collections will take place on the 5th December between 9:00 and 10:15, on registration.

Informations about airports, public transports and accomodation are now available in the Venue Tab. Post-scriptum : the final program and the notification for abstract acceptance will be published before the autumn equinox !

Due to quota reached, only registration on a waiting list are possible now ! Abstracts (38) are being reviewed. We wish you a nice end of summer !
